An Oklahoma mother discovered her 12-year-old daughter being raped at home, so she held an HIV-positive sports coach at gunpoint.

The 12-year-old girl went to investigators this month and told them, “He raped me,” after her mother found the evidence in her Oklahoma City home, according to the Kansas City Star.

According to the authorities, Donovan Scott Sheppard, 39, got into a bar fight on January 13 and was picked up by the girl’s mother, with whom he was living at the time.

According to KFOR, which quoted an affidavit, the mother hastily went to bed when Sheppard and the child arrived home with the small child asleep.

According to reports, the mother, who was first only described as an adult female residing in the home, did not take long to realize that Sheppard was abducting her kid.

The mother had Sheppard under gun control, the cops found when they came at the residence.

Sheppard has been coaching kids baseball for the Oklahoma Aftermath squad for a number of years, according to the Kansas City Star.

He was not wearing a condom when he sexually assaulted the girl, as documented by investigators in the criminal complaint. He also allegedly admitted to police that he was HIV positive.

The young victim informed detectives that, since she was eleven years old, Sheppard had raped her six more times, and that this was not the first instance.

Authorities claimed that during one of the attacks, Sheppard allegedly sexually assaulted the girl when she was twelve years old.

Sheppard was taken into custody and is being held at the Cleveland County Jail on a $500,000 bond, according to jail records that Fox News Digital reviewed.

He was accused of a number of crimes, including first-degree rape, rape by instruments, exposing people to AIDS, and making lewd or indecent remarks or gestures toward a minor.
