Chief Minister Punjab, Maryam Nawaz, has instructed officials to launch the “Sarkein Bahaal Punjab Khushhal” project throughout the province. This initiative aims to rehabilitate all inter and intra-district roads. During a meeting addressing this endeavor, the Chief Minister urged officials to kickstart the project to foster socio-economic development across the province.

CM Maryam Nawaz emphasized the goal of repairing all roads within the next six months. Furthermore, she mandated the installation of electric weighing machines on roads to effectively enforce an axle load management system, ensuring road durability.
In addition, the CM instructed authorities to expedite the completion of ongoing road projects. She also requested a report on the condition of road bridges throughout Punjab.
Furthermore, she directed the construction of expressways on major link roads such as Multan-Vehari and Chiniot-Faisalabad, utilizing the public-private partnership model.
