Amir Grateful to CM Maryam for Addressing PSL Players' Families' Harassment

Fast bowler Mohammad Amir expressed gratitude towards the newly appointed Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, for her assistance in resolving an issue faced by his family during a Pakistan Super League (PSL) match.

In a post shared by Amir, he mentioned that Maryam Nawaz Sharif took the time to call him and discuss the matter. The misunderstanding was subsequently cleared by the Deputy Commissioner of Multan.

Amir also conveyed his best wishes to Maryam Nawaz Sharif as she begins her tenure as CM Punjab.

Earlier, the left-arm fast bowler had demanded action against the Deputy Commissioner of Multan for misconduct. This misconduct involved the misuse of power, as the commissioner allegedly ordered the removal of Amir, Moin Khan, and Umar Amin’s families from the VIP box during a PSL match between Quetta Gladiators and Multan Sultans.

Amir voiced his displeasure over the incident, condemning the unacceptable behavior of the Deputy Commissioner and urging authorities to take immediate action against such abuse of power.
