Separate notifications detail the bans: the first addresses the immediate prohibition on wheat imports, emphasizing its urgency.
The second notification extends the ban to all wheat-derived products, including wheat flour, maida, and suji, to ensure these items remain available in the domestic market.
These measures aim to stabilize the local market and prevent supply shortages, demonstrating the government’s commitment to securing food resources and managing the wheat supply chain effectively.
