Recognizing the transformative power of education, especially for marginalized communities, Nyla emphasized the importance of ensuring every child has access to quality education. Drawing from her own experiences as a trailblazer in mountaineering, she underscored the role of education in empowering individuals to reach new heights and overcome challenges.
This call to action comes amid concerns over the high number of out-of-school children in Pakistan, which currently stands at 26.2 million. The recently appointed Education Minister, Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, has also advocated for declaring an ‘education emergency’ to address this pressing issue, highlighting the urgency of improving access to education across the country.
