Ayesha Jahanzeb And Haris Ali Resolve Domestic Violence Conflict

In the Lahore District and Sessions Court, the case involving anchorperson Ayesha Jahanzeb allegations of domestic violence against her husband, Haris Ali, saw a significant development. During the hearing on Friday, Ayesha and Haris reportedly reached a reconciliation agreement.

When asked by the court if she agreed to reconcile voluntarily, Ayesha affirmed her consent, stating she was reconciling of her own free will. She emphasized that the ordeal she went through was torture and should not happen to any woman.

Ayesha expressed her acceptance of the judges’ decision, stating, “Whatever decision the honourable judges have made, I accept it wholeheartedly.” She also conveyed her decision not to pursue the case further, which was finalized in the presence of witnesses.

Following the proceedings, the court granted bail to Haris. A case had been filed against him by the Sarwar Road police station on July 10, after Ayesha alleged that she had been subjected to violence by her husband at least three times over the past year. The FIR detailed that Ayesha sustained serious injuries from the alleged torture, prompting her to seek legal action.

In response to Ayesha’s request, the police swiftly arrested Haris. He was produced before a judicial magistrate, who approved a two-day physical remand. The reconciliation agreement between Ayesha and Haris marks a notable development in the case.
