Muslims Celebrate Eidul Adha In Saudi Arabia and Other Parts of the World

Eidul Adha is being celebrated in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and several other Middle Eastern countries on Sunday.

Large congregations have been held at various locations worldwide for Eid prayers. In Saudi Arabia, two significant gatherings took place at Masjid al-Haram and Masjid an-Nabawi in the holy cities of Makkah and Madina. Reports indicate that over a million people attended the Eid prayers at these two sacred sites.

The UAE also witnessed large congregations for Eid prayers today. In addition, Muslims in the United States, Japan, Indonesia, and Turkey are celebrating Eidul Adha on Tuesday.

Pakistan will celebrate Eidul Adha on Monday (tomorrow).

Eidul Adha, known as the Feast of Sacrifice, occurs on the 10th day of the lunar Islamic calendar month of Zil-Hajj. It is celebrated by Muslims worldwide 70 days after Eid al-Fitr, which marks the end of Ramadan, the fasting month.
