DIG Lahore died suddenlyAccording to sources, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Lahore Shariq Jamal was discovered deceased at his apartment in DHA on Saturday. The body was taken to a local hospital for examination by police.
Concerns have been raised about the circumstances surrounding his premature death, forcing officials to initiate an investigation into the occurrence.

According to the initial account, no family members were there when he died at his home. It was revealed that he had dispatched his two home servants prior to his death. When the servants returned, they discovered him dead in his bedroom and immediately called the police.
Members of DIG Shariq Jamal’s family, who were present at a different house, were informed about this unfortunate incident.
