WANA – The military’s media wing reported the successful neutralization of eight terrorists in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) conducted in the South Waziristan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to a statement released by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces eliminated eight militants during the IBO carried out on November 26, 202 in the general vicinity of Sararogha, South Waziristan District.
The operation was initiated upon receiving intelligence regarding the presence of armed individuals. It witnessed an intense exchange of gunfire between the security forces and the militants, resulting in the neutralization of eight terrorists.

The military’s media wing highlighted that the deceased members belonged to a banned outfit and were actively engaged in terrorist activities against security forces. Furthermore, the operation led to the recovery of arms, ammunition, and explosives from the militants.
In efforts to ensure the area’s security, a sanitization operation was launched to root out any remaining terrorists. The security forces of Pakistan are steadfast in their commitment to eradicating the threat of terrorism from the nation.
