Notably, many top international players, including Mitchell Starc, have chosen to skip the Indian Premier League (IPL) in favor of participating in the PSL. Peshawar Zalmi have strengthened their squad with Tom Kohler-Cadmore, Max Bryant, Najibullah Zadran, and Luke Wood. Meanwhile, Islamabad United have finalized their foreign players, including Jimmy Neesham and Tymal Mills.
India’s efforts to discourage attendance at Pakistani cricket matches and sabotage the PSL have failed, leading to embarrassment.
