The team has a few days of practice before their crucial match against Saudi Arabia, which marks the beginning of the 2nd round of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers for both countries. The match is scheduled to take place at Al-Fateh Stadium on November 16, 2023, at 9:30 PM (Pakistan Standard Time).

While there was interest from Somalia for a friendly match with Pakistan during this time, it appears unlikely that the friendly will take place.

This occasion is historic for Pakistan, as it marks the first time the country has qualified for the 2nd round of a FIFA World Cup qualifier in its 76-year history. The team is looking forward to making its mark in the upcoming matches.
