Turkish TikToker Kubra Aykut, who gained fame after a viral video of her “wedding without a groom,” has tragically died after falling from the fifth floor of a luxury apartment in Istanbul, according to Türkiye Today.
Before her death, Kubra had openly shared her struggles with weight loss on social media, expressing concern over her rapid weight loss in her last post. “I lose a kilogram every day. I urgently need to gain weight,” she wrote.
With over a million TikTok followers and 200,000 Instagram followers, Kubra Aykut was vocal about her battles with body image issues, which deeply resonated with her audience.

Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding her death. A suicide note was discovered at the scene, where Kubra expressed her emotional struggles. In the note, she revealed, “I jumped off my own free will. Because I don’t want to live anymore.” She also mentioned her pet, writing, “Take good care of Fistik.” Reflecting on her life, she admitted, “I was good to everyone in my life, but I couldn’t be good to myself. In this life, be selfish. That way, you will be happy.”
Her final TikTok video, which showed her cleaning her apartment, has left her followers deeply alarmed in light of her passing.
