2024 ICC U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup schedule

The 2024 ICC U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup is set to kick off with India, the five-time champions, launching their campaign against the 2020 titleholders Bangladesh in Bloemfontein. Meanwhile, hosts South Africa will face off against the West Indies in the tournament’s opening match scheduled for January 19.

Recently disclosed by the ICC, the schedule for this 16-team event spans across five venues in South Africa, featuring a total of 41 matches over a period of more than three weeks in January and February. This tournament marks the 15th edition of the Under 19 showcase.

India, victorious in the previous edition held in the West Indies in 2022, finds itself placed in Group A alongside Bangladesh, Ireland, and the USA, aiming to secure an unprecedented sixth Under 19 title.

Group B comprises England, South Africa, West Indies, and Scotland. Australia, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, and Namibia make up Group C, while Group D includes Afghanistan, Pakistan, New Zealand, and Nepal, adding to the competitive dynamics of the tournament.
