Peshawar: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has announced the formation of a special police unit aimed at strengthening counter-terrorism operations across the province.
The new unit will be tasked with intelligence gathering, rapid response, and tackling extremist threats. Officials stated that this initiative is part of the government’s broader strategy to ensure public safety and law enforcement efficiency.
KP Chief Minister emphasized that the unit will be equipped with modern technology and specialized training to effectively handle terrorism-related incidents. Law enforcement agencies will collaborate closely to prevent attacks and enhance security across the province.
