Pakistan Condemns Indian Defense Minister’s Remarks On Sindh

Pakistan has strongly condemned recent comments made by India’s defense minister regarding the province of Sindh. Officials in Islamabad described the remarks as “irresponsible” and a violation of international norms.

The Pakistani Foreign Office stated that such statements are “an interference in Pakistan’s internal affairs” and undermine regional peace. Authorities emphasized that Pakistan views these comments as provocative and destabilizing.

The controversy comes amid already tense relations between Pakistan and India, with both countries maintaining heightened diplomatic vigilance. Pakistan has called on India to respect its sovereignty and refrain from making statements that could inflame tensions further.

Analysts say the remarks could worsen the strained bilateral ties and hinder ongoing efforts for dialogue between the two neighbors. Pakistan’s leadership has reiterated its commitment to safeguarding national unity and territorial integrity.

The Foreign Office confirmed that the issue has been formally raised with Indian authorities and in international forums to highlight the unacceptable nature of the comments.

Pakistan continues to urge restraint and dialogue while firmly rejecting any attempt to interfere in its internal matters, especially regarding the province of Sindh.
