Nubia is reportedly preparing to expand its presence in the foldable smartphone market with two new devices, including a book-style Nubia foldable. The leak has sparked interest in ZTEโs sub-brand, which has mostly focused on clamshell designs but has yet to compete directly with Samsungโs Galaxy Z Fold series.
The leaked images, shared by tipster Evan Blass on X, show the Nubia foldable in its unfolded form. The display has even bezels with a top-right camera cutout. The rear houses a large camera block with four circular cutouts, though not all may contain lenses, similar to RedMagic 11 Pro Plus. A technical sketch also hints at a centered punch-hole selfie camera on the outer display and positions for the SIM slot, speakers, microphones, and USB-C port. However, key details such as display size, chipset, and battery capacity remain unknown.
The second device revealed in the leak is the Nubia Flip 3, the companyโs next clamshell foldable. Nubia has experimented with different designs each generation. The Flip 3 appears to feature a cover display spanning the full width of the device, curving around the camera area, resembling Motorolaโs Razr 60 Ultra. The rear shows two cameras, while the flash sits separately on the lower half, similar to Magic V Flip 2.
Despite these leaks, Nubia has not officially confirmed specifications or launch timelines for either device. Industry insiders suggest announcements could come before the end of the year or in early 2026.
The leaked images provide the first detailed look at what could become Nubiaโs most ambitious foldable lineup yet. With these two devices, Nubia aims to challenge competitors in a growing market and strengthen its position among foldable smartphone enthusiasts.
With its combination of a book-style Nubia foldable and an upgraded Flip 3, the brand is signaling its intent to innovate and expand within the highly competitive foldable segment.
