vivo is preparing to launch its next flagship, the vivo X300 Ultra, after clearing key regulatory hurdles in China. The phone, listed as model V2536A, has now been certified with support for 100W fast charging.
The certification confirms that the vivo X300 will feature USB PPS charging rated at 20V and 5A. This ensures fast charging performance comparable to vivo’s FlashCharge system. For comparison, the previous X200 Ultra offered 6,000mAh battery capacity with 90W wired and 40W wireless charging.
The current vivo X300 Pro model in China comes with a 6,510mAh battery, while the global version has a slightly smaller 5,440mAh battery. Similar variations may apply to the X300 Ultra when it becomes available internationally.
The vivo X300 Ultra will feature an advanced camera setup with two 200MP sensors: a 1/1.12-inch main camera and a 1/1.4-inch telephoto camera. It will also include a 50MP ultra-wide camera with a 1/1.28-inch sensor, which is larger than the main cameras on some recent flagship phones.
Unlike its X300 siblings, the Ultra variant is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor instead of the Dimensity 9500. This upgrade promises higher performance and efficiency for demanding tasks.
The vivo X300 Ultra is expected to launch toward the end of Q1 next year. The X200 Ultra launched in April, suggesting that the new Ultra will follow a similar release timeline.
With high-speed charging, impressive camera capabilities, and a flagship processor, the vivo X300 Ultra aims to strengthen vivo’s position in the premium smartphone market globally.
