Pakistani superstar Meesha Shafi has confirmed that her upcoming single “Sachay Loki” will be released this Friday in collaboration with Indian singer-songwriter Talwiinder. The announcement ends weeks of speculation after Shafi teased the project on social media.
On December 8, Meesha Shafi shared photos from the song’s cover shoot, inviting fans to guess the featured artist. The background track featured Talwiinder’s music, sparking curiosity among followers. A follow-up post on December 16 revealed the song’s title, release date, and finally confirmed Talwiinder as her collaborator.
The cover art for “Sachay Loki” shows Shafi and Talwiinder standing back-to-back against a solar eclipse. Shafi is styled with a chain headpiece, while Talwiinder wears face paint and a bandana, giving the visuals a dramatic and artistic feel.
This collaboration continues Meesha Shafi’s cross-border work, highlighting her growing presence in the music industry. Shafi, who previously appeared in Bollywood in the 2012 biopic Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, has since focused on music, releasing her album Khilnay Ko in May.
