Four India-Sponsored Terrorists Killed in Panjgur Security Operation

RAWALPINDI – Security forces have successfully carried out an intelligence-based operation in Panjgur district, Balochistan, targeting terrorists affiliated with the India-backed Fitna al Khwarij network. The operation focused on eliminating militants actively involved in destabilizing the region.

According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces engaged the terrorists at a specific location identified through precise intelligence. After a brief but intense exchange of fire, four terrorists were neutralized. Weapons, ammunition, and explosives were also recovered from the militants, highlighting the serious threat they posed to local security.

The ISPR stated that the eliminated terrorists were part of a network responsible for various attacks and planning subversive activities in Balochistan. The operation demonstrates the capability and preparedness of Pakistani security forces in responding to terrorist threats.

Authorities have continued sanitization operations in Panjgur to ensure that no terrorists remain in the area. The mission is part of the broader counter-terrorism campaign, Azm e Istehkam, which has been approved by the Federal Apex Committee under the National Action Plan. The campaign aims to dismantle foreign-sponsored terrorist networks operating in Pakistan.

Security officials emphasized that the operation reflects Pakistan’s ongoing commitment to combating terrorists and maintaining stability. Joint efforts by law enforcement agencies and military units are being strengthened to prevent the infiltration of foreign-backed terrorist groups.

The local population has been informed of the increased security presence, and authorities have urged residents to report any suspicious activities. Continued vigilance and intelligence-sharing are key to neutralizing threats posed by terrorists in the region.
