Princess Kate enjoyed a quiet festive day with her children, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, in Norfolk last week. The outing took place just before the familyโs Christmas celebration at the Kingโs Sandringham Estate.
On December 23, the Princess of Wales took her children to the Thursford Christmas Spectacular, a popular holiday show. The eventโs website describes it as โan extravaganza of non-stop singing, dancing, music, humour, and speciality acts.โ
Comedian Lloyd Hollett shared his excitement on Instagram after the performance. He said, โWhat a dayโฆ Today, we were honoured by the presence of Her Royal Highness The Princess of Wales, alongside Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.โ He added, โSeeing them in the Royal Box enjoying our show was truly a career highlight.โ
The Thursford Christmas Spectacular is now in its 48th production. It features over 120 performers on a 130-foot stage and has won multiple awards, including Best Christmas Experience at the 2024 and 2025 Group Leisure and Travel Awards.
Fans and performers alike were thrilled to see Princess Kate and her children at the show. Hollett noted that the royal familyโs attendance made the performance a special experience for everyone involved.
Just two days after the Thursford visit, the Wales family joined King Charles and Queen Camilla for their annual Christmas walk to St Mary Magdalene Church. Many royal fans camped overnight hoping to catch a glimpse of the family during the traditional event.
Princess Kate continues to maintain a balance between royal duties and family moments. Her low-key festive outings, like the visit to Thursford, give fans a chance to see the Princess of Wales enjoying simple family traditions. The event also highlights her dedication to sharing joyful moments with her children during the holiday season.
