The government’s campaign on those involved in the May 9 violent protests is still ongoing, with another important arrest made.
Seemabia Tahir Satti, a former Provincial Assembly member from the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has been arrested in connection with the attack on critical government infrastructure.

According to reliable sources, Ms Satti was mentioned in the complaint registered at Rawalpindi’s Newtown police station and has since been arrested. She was sent to the Women’s Police Station.
Meanwhile, efforts to apprehend Raja Rashid Hafeez, the former provincial minister also charged in the case, have proven futile.
