Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah chaired a cabinet meeting today, focusing on the industrial zone development in the province. The CM emphasized the provincial governmentโs commitment to industrial growth and promised separate development packages for other industrial areas.
Speaking to the media after the meeting, Murad Ali Shah said the Industries Department is actively preparing plans to upgrade industrial zones in multiple cities. Once these projects are finalized, formal announcements will be made, he added.
The CM highlighted that funds will be allocated to repair roads and improve drainage systems in all industrial zones in Karachi. He stressed that these improvements are aimed at creating better infrastructure for businesses and encouraging industrial growth.
Murad Ali Shah also discussed the outcomes of public hearings held in 23 districts. Complaints were received regarding law and order, policing, health facilities, municipal services, water supply, roads, irrigation, and education. The CM directed all relevant departments to address these issues promptly and submit reports on their progress.
Public hearings will resume in the second week of January, and Murad Ali Shah warned officials that failure to resolve the complaints would result in strict action. This initiative is part of the governmentโs broader plan to ensure transparency and accountability in addressing public grievances while boosting industrial zone development.
Officials say that improved infrastructure in industrial zones will attract investment, increase productivity, and support job creation across Sindh. The CMโs focus on upgrading industrial zones reflects a strategic push to strengthen the provinceโs economic and industrial landscape.
Sindhโs government plans for industrial zone development include not only infrastructure improvements but also streamlined administrative support for businesses. This comprehensive approach aims to foster a business-friendly environment while addressing the challenges faced by industries in Karachi and other cities.
With the new development packages and ongoing public hearings, Sindhโs government is working to ensure sustainable industrial growth and improved facilities for entrepreneurs and workers alike.
