He then held a meeting with senior police officials posted at the CPO to discuss ongoing priorities.
As part of his first official duties, IG Javed Alam Odho laid a floral wreath at the memorial of police martyrs and offered Fateha in their honor. The Sindh chief secretary has issued the official notification confirming this significant reshuffle.
Along with the new police chief, several senior postings were announced. Azaad Khan, Additional IGP CTD Sindh, has been appointed as AIG Karachi. Zulfiqar Larik will serve as Additional IGP, Special Branch, and Sharjeel Kharl has been assigned as Additional IGP, Police Operations Sindh.
Other appointments include Iqbal Dara as Additional IGP, Police Training Sindh, Faisal Abdullah Chachar as DIG, Mirpurkhas, and Nasser Aftab as DG, Sukkur, with additional charge. Pervez Chandio has been appointed DIG, Establishment Division Sindh.
