Pakistan’s men’s cricket team is confirmed to visit Bangladesh for the 2026 tour, featuring both white-ball and Test matches, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced on Friday.
The BCB revealed a packed home international schedule for 2026, with Bangladesh hosting four Tests, 12 ODIs, and nine T20Is. The season will kick off in March after the T20 World Cup, starting with Pakistan in a three-match ODI series.
The 2026 tour will also include a two-match Test series, part of the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2025-27. Top Pakistani players are expected to participate, making the series highly anticipated by fans across Bangladesh.
Following Pakistan’s visit, New Zealand will tour Bangladesh for a white-ball series starting 17 April. Later in June, Australia will play three ODIs and three T20Is between 5 and 20 June during their scheduled white-ball tour.
The BCB also confirmed the rescheduled India series, postponed from 2025. India will tour for three ODIs and three T20Is in August and September 2026.
Before India’s visit, Bangladesh will host West Indies for a two-match Test series as part of the WTC. The opening Test is set for 28 October, followed by the second match on 5 November.
Shahriar Nafees, BCB cricket operations in-charge, said, “The rescheduled series against India ensures fans will enjoy high-quality cricket throughout 2026. The calendar provides opportunities to watch top international teams at home, while details of match venues will be shared later.”
The 2026 tour of Pakistan is expected to draw huge crowds and offers Bangladesh a chance to test their skills against one of the strongest teams in world cricket. Fans eagerly await this series, which promises competitive matches and exciting cricket action across multiple formats.
