LAHORE – The Punjab government has launched the Parwaaz Card program, offering financial support to youth seeking employment abroad. The initiative, led by Maryam Nawaz, aims to remove the financial hurdles that prevent thousands of skilled Pakistanis from pursuing overseas opportunities.
Under the program, up to 100,000 eligible applicants will receive interest-free funding to cover critical costs such as visa fees, medical tests, and airfare. The scheme is specifically for candidates who already hold verified job offers from authorized foreign employers but lack the resources to complete the process.
Authorities have set clear eligibility criteria for the Parwaaz Card. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, reside in Punjab, and hold a valid overseas employment offer. Only candidates who meet all requirements will be considered, ensuring a transparent and merit-based selection process.
Officials say the Parwaaz Card is more than just financial support—it is a structured pathway to international employment. The program allows young Pakistanis to turn overseas job offers into real opportunities, while also promoting skill development and contributing to the local economy.
Applicants can submit their applications online via the official portal. Authorities urge candidates to provide accurate information to avoid delays in the verification and approval process.
The program reflects the Punjab government’s commitment to empowering youth and expanding international employment access. By covering essential costs, the Parwaaz Card helps aspiring workers achieve their dreams and gain global work experience without financial strain.
