Mahmood Khan Achakzai, head of the Tehreek Tahafuz Ayeen-i-Pakistan (TTAP) and chairman of the Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party, has been appointed Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly.
His appointment was approved by National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq following a formal request from PTI Chairman Imran Khan. PTI had nominated Mahmood Khan Achakzai after former Opposition Leader Omar Ayub was disqualified.
