Google has expanded the availability of its AI video generator, Google Flow, to Business, Enterprise, and Education Workspace subscribers. The tool was previously limited to Google AI Pro and AI Ultra users.
Debuting in May 2025, Google Flow allows users to create short AI-generated videos using simple text prompts or images. The expansion to wider subscription plans reflects Google’s efforts to integrate generative video tools into everyday work and educational software.
The AI-powered tool runs on Google’s Veo 3.1 video generation model. Users can produce eight-second clips and then combine them into longer sequences. Google Flow also includes powerful editing tools, letting creators adjust lighting, shift camera angles, and add or remove objects within a scene.
Recently, Google introduced vertical video support, making Google Flow ideal for mobile-first platforms. The tool also now includes sound generation, which can be applied when using reference images, adding scene transitions, or extending existing clips.
In addition, Google Flow integrates Nano Banana Pro, Google’s AI image tool. This allows users to design characters and visual concepts before turning them into videos. This integration simplifies the workflow for creative teams and educators looking to produce fast, high-quality content.
Experts say the expansion of Google Flow demonstrates Google’s commitment to making AI video creation accessible for a broader audience. By combining video, audio, and image generation in one platform, teams can produce professional-quality content without needing separate software.
Educators and business users are expected to benefit significantly from this rollout. Teachers can create engaging classroom videos, while companies can generate marketing or training content more efficiently.
