A PAF contingent has arrived at King Abdulaziz Air Base in Saudi Arabia to participate in the multinational aerial combat Exercise Spears of Victory-2026. The contingent includes F-16 Block-52 fighter jets, along with dedicated air and ground crew, according to a press release by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The exercise brings together fighter jets and combat support units from several nations, including Saudi Arabia, France, Italy, Greece, Qatar, Bahrain, Jordan, the United Kingdom, and the United States. It provides a platform for participating air forces to enhance interoperability, operational synergy, and mutual understanding.

Key focus areas of the exercise include large force employment, night composite air operations, integrated intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR), and operations in advanced electronic warfare environments. The PAF contingent aims to demonstrate its operational preparedness and strengthen coordination with partner air forces in complex scenarios.

For this international deployment, Pakistan Air Force fighter jets undertook a non-stop flight from Pakistan to Saudi Arabia. This journey highlighted the PAF’s long-range operational reach and expeditionary capabilities. Pilots flying advanced F-16 Block-52 aircraft, equipped with modern avionics and Beyond Visual Range (BVR) capabilities, will engage in exercises alongside other participating air forces.

The PAF contingent’s participation underlines Pakistan Air Force’s commitment to regional and international military cooperation. It also showcases the PAF’s professional excellence and ability to operate alongside leading global air forces in varied and challenging operational conditions.

Through its involvement in Exercise Spears of Victory-2026, the PAF seeks to validate tactics, improve readiness, and gain experience in operating in multinational and technologically advanced combat environments. The exercise is expected to foster stronger ties and greater trust among the allied air forces.

This deployment highlights Pakistan’s dedication to contributing to regional security while maintaining high operational standards. The PAF’s presence at such a high-profile exercise reinforces its reputation as a modern and capable air force ready for joint operations with international partners.
