Indian actress Sara Arjun has opened up about her role in the highly anticipated sequel, Dhurandhar Part 2. The film is set to release soon, and the actress shared insights into her character and preparation for the project.
Speaking in an interview with NDTV, Sara Arjun said the sequel builds on the success of the first film. “People have expectations after part one. Part two has more of everything that viewers liked,” she explained. She highlighted that the film includes more action, a stronger storyline, and deeper character development.
In the first installment, Sara portrayed Yalina Jamali, the daughter of a Pakistani politician. She said she spent significant time understanding her character. “We discussed her journey in detail. I wanted to understand how she thinks and feels,” Sara Arjun explained, emphasizing her dedication to the role.
According to the actress, Yalina’s character undergoes significant growth in Dhurandhar Part 2. “The real depth of Yalina’s character came in part two,” she said. The sequel allowed her character to evolve emotionally and narratively, giving audiences a more intense experience.
Sara also discussed her first lead role in the Telugu film Euphoria. The film tells the story of children in conflict with the law. She said she was drawn to the project because of its powerful storyline. “The character showed strength and resilience. The story moved me,” she shared.
Reflecting on her work across different film industries, Sara noted that she focuses on meaningful roles rather than regional boundaries. “Cinema felt the same everywhere now. Stories mattered more than language,” she said, highlighting her commitment to strong narratives.
When asked about her future projects, Sara Arjun admitted that nothing has been finalized yet. “Nothing was decided yet, and I was okay with that,” she said, leaving fans eager to see her next creative venture.
