ISLAMABAD – The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested Imaan Mazari and her husband, Hadi Ali Chatha, after their bails were officially cancelled. The arrest took place near Sarena Chowk as the couple was traveling to district courts.
Authorities confirmed that Imaan Mazari and her husband were in a van belonging to the Islamabad High Court Bar Association. The bar association president and other officials were also present in the vehicle at the time of the arrest.
Security officials intercepted the van near Sarena Chowk and took both into custody. The FIA stated that the arrests were carried out following proper legal procedures after the court’s cancellation of their bails.
