Balochistan Operation Concludes 92 Terrorists Killed, 33 Martyred

Security forces concluded a major Balochistan Operation after deadly attacks struck several districts across the province. The violence occurred on 31 January 2026 and affected multiple locations.

According to officials, the attacks were carried out by the Indian-backed terrorist group Fitna al Hindustan. The group launched coordinated assaults in Quetta, Mastung, Nushki, Dalbandin, Kharan, Panjgur, Tump, Gwadar, and Pasni. The targets included civilians and public areas.

Authorities said the goal was to create fear and destabilize the region. Terrorists acted on direct instructions from handlers operating outside Pakistan. Intelligence reports confirmed constant communication during the attacks.

The deadliest incidents took place in Gwadar and Kharan. Eighteen civilians were brutally killed in these areas. Victims included women, children, elderly citizens, and daily wage workers. Officials described the attacks as deliberate and ruthless.

Security forces and law enforcement agencies responded within hours. A full-scale Balochistan Operation was launched to counter the threat. Troops engaged militants in intense and prolonged clashes across multiple districts.

After several hours of fighting, 92 terrorists were eliminated. Among them were three suicide bombers, officials confirmed. Security forces said the timely response saved many civilian lives.

The operation came with heavy sacrifices. Fifteen security personnel were martyred while defending the country. Authorities paid tribute to their bravery and commitment.

Sanitization and clearance operations are still underway. Forces are checking affected areas to ensure no militants remain hidden. Checkpoints have been reinforced to prevent further attacks.

Officials revealed that violence had started a day earlier. On 30 January, security forces neutralized 41 terrorists in Panjgur and Harnai. These militants belonged to Fitna al Hindustan and Fitna al Khwarij.

With the latest actions, the total number of terrorists killed in recent days has reached 133. Authorities described the Balochistan Operation as a major step toward restoring peace.

The government reaffirmed its commitment to counter terrorism. Officials said operations would continue until all threats are removed. These efforts fall under the “Azm-e-Istehkam” initiative.
