Islamabad Administration Makes Mandatory Registration for Iftar Events

Islamabad authorities have made registration with the district administration mandatory for setting up Ramazan iftar arrangements. The new step aims to improve organization and security during the holy month.

Officials say the decision will help manage public spaces more effectively. It will also ensure proper facilities for people attending community iftar events.

So far, 18 applications have been received from different parts of the city. More applications are expected as Ramazan approaches. Authorities have urged citizens to complete the process on time.

In previous years, public iftar setups appeared along major roads and busy areas. This year, the administration wants all such activities to follow official procedures. Islamabad authorities have made registration with the district administration mandatory for setting up Ramazan iftar arrangements to avoid traffic issues and safety concerns.

According to a spokesperson, anyone planning a public iftar must submit an application. The form must include complete details about the location and the organizer.

Applicants are also required to provide identification documents. These documents will help authorities verify the information. The district administration will then review each request.

Officials say site inspections will be conducted before approval. Assistant Commissioners will visit the proposed locations. They will check safety, traffic flow, and space availability.

Permission will only be granted after the inspection process is complete. Public iftar arrangements will not be allowed without registration. Islamabad authorities have made registration with the district administration mandatory for setting up Ramazan iftar arrangements to ensure proper planning.

The administration has also promised support for approved setups. This includes site allocation and security arrangements where needed.
