‘Maryam Ko Bataain’: How To Get Rs10,000 Ramadan 2026 Aid in Punjab

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has launched a new welfare initiative, “Maryam Ko Batain,” to provide financial assistance during Ramadan 2026.

The program, announced on the social media platform X, will officially start on the first day of Ramadan 2026. It aims to support struggling families with immediate financial aid.

Under the initiative, eligible individuals can receive up to Rs10,000 within 24 hours. The Chief Minister confirmed a dedicated helpline, 1000, will be activated on the first day of Ramadan 2026 for applications.

Applicants can access the financial aid by calling the helpline or through the web portal and mobile app by entering their CNIC number. Those already registered under the Pakistan Social and Economic Relief (PSER) system will receive aid within 24 hours, while unregistered applicants will undergo verification within four days.

The welfare program is designed to provide swift support during the holy month, ensuring needy families can meet essential expenses. Officials have emphasized that the process will be simple and transparent, giving priority to genuine applicants.

Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, dedicated to fasting, prayer, and spiritual reflection. The start date of Ramadan 2026 depends on the moon sighting. If Shaban lasts 29 days, Ramadan will begin on February 19. If Shaban completes 30 days, the first day will fall on February 20. The final announcement will be made by the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee.

The Punjab government’s “Maryam Ko Batain” program reflects efforts to provide timely financial relief to citizens during Ramadan 2026, helping them observe the holy month with dignity and support.

Authorities have encouraged eligible individuals to register early and use the helpline or digital platforms to receive assistance promptly.
