Fasset and Habib Rafiq Ltd. Partner to Open Pakistan’s $1.5 Trillion Asset Market

US-based digital banking platform Fasset has partnered with Habib Rafiq Limited (HRL) to unlock Pakistan’s untapped asset market. The collaboration aims to attract global investment and modernize the country’s financial ecosystem.

The high-profile announcement in Islamabad was attended by senior government officials, business leaders, international diplomats, and digital economy influencers. The partnership signals a new era for Pakistan’s asset market and digital economy.

A key focus of the collaboration is asset tokenization, which will digitally open doors to Pakistan’s $1.5 trillion real estate and domestic asset market. This will allow international investors to participate more efficiently and securely.

The partnership also targets Pakistan’s growing freelance workforce, the fourth largest globally. Fasset will provide seamless, real-time payment solutions, enabling freelancers to earn, manage, and reinvest income securely.

Additionally, the initiative aims to streamline foreign direct investment (FDI) into local projects. Using blockchain-powered infrastructure, capital inflows will become more transparent and accessible, further strengthening Pakistan’s position in the global investment landscape.

Federal Minister for IT & Telecommunication Shaza Fatima Khawaja praised the collaboration as a milestone for Pakistan’s digital economy. “Our young, skilled workforce is ready to compete globally,” she said. “This partnership expands financial inclusion and attracts investment, supporting the Digital Nation Pakistan vision.”

Fasset CEO Mohammad Raafi Hossain highlighted the platform’s mission to empower 100 million people worldwide to own their wealth. “Pakistan’s dynamic market is one of our highest-priority opportunities,” he said. “Together with HRL, we will make the nation’s digital workforce and domestic assets accessible globally.”

HRL Vice Chairman Jahanzaib Zahid added, “Combining HRL’s infrastructure legacy with Fasset’s digital expertise creates a transparent and future-ready investment ecosystem. This opens new doors for overseas Pakistanis and international investors.”

Founded in the US, Fasset specializes in tokenized assets and financial inclusion in emerging markets. HRL, established in 1962, is a leading engineering and infrastructure company in Pakistan. The partnership combines legacy expertise with digital innovation to revolutionize Pakistan’s asset market.
