According to the jail superintendent’s report submitted to the apex court, Imran Khan is housed in a separate compound within the prison. The compound measures 57 feet in length and 14 feet in width. It includes seven cells, with adjoining cells numbered 35 and 37.
The report states that the entire compound contains 74 cells. It is designed to accommodate between 30 and 35 inmates. However, the PTI founder is being kept in a secure and designated area.
The Supreme Court receives details confirming that Imran Khan has access to a lawn area. He can sit outdoors, read books and newspapers, and spend time in natural sunlight. Jail authorities have also provided exercise equipment. These include a cycling machine and other gym apparatus to maintain physical health.
The report further explains his daily meal plan. For breakfast, he is served dates, walnuts, honey, coffee, porridge, lassi, warm milk, chia seeds, and seasonal or pomegranate juice. Lunch includes local chicken or mutton, salad, mixed pickles, chips, eggs, and lentils.
Evening snacks consist of almonds, raisins, coconut powder, milk, dates, bananas, and apples prepared in shakes. Officials state that the meals are designed to meet nutritional standards.
The Supreme Court receives details highlighting that he has access to fresh air and natural light throughout the day. Authorities describe the environment as secure and in line with superior-class facilities.
The report emphasizes that these arrangements aim to ensure comfort and well-being during incarceration. Jail officials have stated that all facilities comply with prison regulations and relevant legal requirements.
