Sahibzada Farhan Stuns Cricket Fans with Rare T20 World Cup Century

Pakistan’s Sahibzada Farhan has made history at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup with a brilliant century. He is now the second Pakistani batter to reach the milestone in the tournament.

Sahibzada Farhan played an unbeaten knock of 100 runs against Namibia in a key group-stage match. His innings helped Pakistan stay strong in the contest and lifted the team’s total.

This was the first T20 International century of Sahibzada Farhan’s career. The achievement puts him alongside Ahmed Shehzad, who was the first Pakistani to score a T20 World Cup century. Shehzad reached the mark against Bangladesh during the 2014 edition of the tournament.

Farhan’s knock came under pressure, as the match carried importance for Pakistan’s progress in the group stage. He remained calm at the crease and built his innings steadily. His shots around the ground kept the scoreboard moving and put Namibia on the back foot.

The century is also notable in the context of the ongoing tournament. It is the third hundred recorded in this edition of the T20 World Cup. Previous tournaments had seen no more than two centuries in total.

Earlier in the event, Pathum Nissanka of Sri Lanka scored a century against Australia. Canada’s Yuvraj Samra also hit a hundred against New Zealand.

Farhan’s performance adds to the growing list of standout batting displays in the tournament. His century will be remembered as a key moment in Pakistan’s campaign and a personal milestone in his international career.
