Maryam Nawaz Rs10,000 Ramzan Scheme 2026: How to Apply Online

Maryam Nawaz Rs10,000 Ramzan Scheme 2026 How to Apply Online

LAHORE โ€“ The Punjab government has launched the Ramzan Scheme 2026 to support low-income families during the holy month. The program aims to reduce financial pressure on households facing rising grocery costs.

Ramzan brings increased spending for many families. Food prices and daily expenses often rise during the holy month. Many households in Punjab struggle to manage these extra costs.

To address this issue, the provincial government introduced the Ramzan Scheme 2026. The initiative offers direct financial assistance to eligible families across Punjab.

Under the program, selected households will receive Rs10,000 in cash support. Officials say the funds will help families purchase essential food items during Ramzan.

The government says the Ramzan Scheme 2026 is one of the largest relief programs introduced in Punjab. The scheme focuses on helping families with limited income.

Beneficiaries are selected using verified official databases. These include the Punjab Socio-Economic Registry (PSER) and the Benazir Income Support Programme records.

Officials say the use of verified data helps ensure transparency. It also allows support to reach the most deserving households.

To make the process easier, authorities have introduced an SMS verification system. Citizens can quickly check their eligibility through a simple message.

To use the service, applicants must open their mobile messaging app. They should type their 13-digit CNIC number without dashes. The message must then be sent to 8070.

Within seconds, users will receive a response about their status. The reply will show one of three options: eligible, under verification, or not eligible.

Officials say this system reduces long waiting lines. It also removes the need for repeated visits to government offices.

People whose records are missing can update their information online. Registration is available through the official PSER portal.

Applicants must first create an account using their CNIC number. After that, they need to complete a household survey form. They must also upload a CNIC copy and a recent utility bill.

Once the application is submitted, officials will review the information. Approved families will then be added to the Ramzan Scheme 2026 list.

To qualify for the program, applicants must be permanent residents of Punjab. Their monthly income should be below Rs60,000. Their poverty score must also fall below the required limit.

Government employees, pensioners, tax filers, and owners of luxury property are not eligible.
