Punjab government has introduced the CM Maryam Nawas Loan Scheme 2026 to support youth, women, and small business owners across the province. The program aims to provide easy and interest-free loans to help citizens improve their financial stability.
Officials say the initiative is part of broader efforts to promote entrepreneurship and reduce unemployment. Through the CM Maryam Nawas Loan Scheme, thousands of people are expected to benefit by starting businesses or expanding existing ones.
The scheme was launched under the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif. Authorities believe the program will create more job opportunities and encourage people to become financially independent.
According to officials, the CM Maryam Nawas Loan Scheme covers several important sectors. These include small businesses, agriculture, housing, and financial assistance for entrepreneurs. Multiple sub-programs have been introduced to support different groups within society.
One of the key components of the initiative is the Asan Karobar Scheme. Under this program, individuals can receive loans of up to Rs5 million. The funds can be used to start small businesses such as shops, tailoring units, bakeries, or startups.
Another part of the program is the Asaan Karobar Finance Scheme. This option provides larger loans of up to Rs30 million for medium-sized businesses. The repayment period for these loans can range from three to seven years.
Housing support is also included in the CM Maryam Nawas Loan Scheme. Through the Apni Chhat Apna Ghar program, eligible citizens can apply for low-cost housing loans. These loans are designed to help people build homes on their own land with affordable monthly installments.
Farmers are also expected to benefit from the initiative. The Kissan Card and Hi-Tech Farm Mechanization programs offer financial assistance to modernize agriculture. Farmers can use these funds to purchase tractors, solar systems, seeds, and advanced farming equipment.
Authorities have also introduced a digital application system for the program. Citizens can submit their applications online by providing personal details, CNIC information, and required documents through official government portals.
Officials say the online process aims to make the application system transparent and accessible. By simplifying the process, the government hopes to ensure that financial support reaches deserving individuals quickly.
