Pakistan’s Security Forces have killed 34 militants during a series of intelligence-based operations conducted in recent days. The operations were part of an ongoing counterterrorism campaign, according to a statement released by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The operations took place in several districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan. Officials said the actions were based on credible intelligence regarding militant activities in the region.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Security Forces eliminated 26 militants during four separate engagements. The operations targeted areas where militants were reportedly active.
One incident occurred in the Hassan Khel area of North Waziristan district. During the operation, Security Forces intercepted a group attempting to infiltrate from across the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.
A brief exchange of fire followed between the troops and the militants. One militant was killed during the confrontation. Officials identified the individual as an Afghan national.
Another operation took place in Lakki Marwat district. Security Forces launched an intelligence-based raid after receiving reports of militant presence.
During the encounter, three militants were killed after an intense gun battle. Officials said the operation was carried out successfully without any reported casualties among the troops.

A separate intelligence-based operation was conducted in the Mir Ali area of North Waziristan. In this operation, Security Forces killed 12 militants after acting on precise intelligence information.
In Balochistan, another operation was conducted in the Sambaza area of Zhob district. According to officials, eight militants were killed following a heavy exchange of fire.
During the operations, troops also recovered weapons and ammunition from the militants. Authorities believe the individuals were involved in multiple terrorist activities across the region.
Officials said the recovered equipment will be examined as part of the investigation. Intelligence agencies are also reviewing evidence gathered during the operations.
The military confirmed that clearance operations are still underway in affected areas. Security Forces are searching for any remaining militants who may still be present.
Authorities say such operations are part of a broader national security strategy. The aim is to eliminate militant networks and improve security in sensitive regions.
