The ministry stated that the news was spread by a Pakistan-critical account linked to India. It added that the false narrative aimed to create fear and uncertainty, despite strong diplomatic and economic ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
Saudi-Pakistan Relations
Pakistan and Saudi Arabia continue to maintain strong relations, particularly in defense and economic cooperation. The government emphasized that ongoing investment projects from Saudi Arabia remain unaffected.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi held a telephonic conversation with his Saudi counterpart to discuss tensions in the Middle East. Pakistan expressed solidarity with Saudi Arabia and condemned recent attacks on the Kingdom.
Meanwhile, Major General Turki Al-Maliki, spokesperson for the Saudi Ministry of Defense, confirmed that two ballistic missiles launched toward Prince Sultan Air Base were successfully intercepted and destroyed.

Officials stressed that all Saudi-funded projects and investment initiatives in Pakistan are progressing as planned. These projects include economic and infrastructure programs that benefit multiple sectors.
