The United Arab Emirates (UAE) denies claims that its territory is being used as a base for attacks on Iran.
Speaking in Geneva, Jamal Al Musharakh, UAE Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations, emphasized that Emirati bases are not involved in military operations against Tehran. He denies any participation of UAE territory in the ongoing conflict.
Al Musharakh also reiterated that the UAE will not allow its land to be used for attacks and will avoid involvement in any confrontation targeting Iran. “De-escalation remains our consistent stance,” he said, urging all parties to return to diplomatic negotiations.
The statement comes amid escalating military tensions in the Middle East following US and Israeli strikes on Iranian targets. Several reports suggested regional involvement, but the UAE has firmly denies these allegations, highlighting its neutral position.
Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump delivered mixed messages regarding the conflict with Iran. He first indicated that the war could end soon but later told House Republicans that Washington has “not won enough” yet. These conflicting remarks have raised questions about the US strategy.
