Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a restricted meeting with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in Jeddah to discuss regional developments and bilateral cooperation.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Chief of Army Staff & Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir were also present during the meeting.
At the outset, PM Shehbaz conveyed his respectful regards and best wishes to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, highlighting Pakistan’s appreciation for the Kingdom’s longstanding support.
The prime minister reiterated Pakistan’s full solidarity and support for Saudi Arabia during these challenging times, emphasizing the importance of strong bilateral ties and regional cooperation.
Both leaders exchanged in-depth views on recent developments in the Middle East and agreed to coordinate efforts to maintain peace and stability in the region.
PM Shehbaz assured Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman that Pakistan would continue to provide full solidarity and support, standing firmly with the Kingdom against regional challenges.
