Speaking about her return with the recently released film Daldal, Pednekar said the response has been overwhelmingly positive. The series has trended globally despite being an Indian show. Looking ahead, Pednekar expressed her excitement about her next project. “It is Imran Khan’s comeback film, and I am so thrilled. He’s returning to the rom-com film genre, which he had made iconic, but this story is more mature and evolved. It’s an evolved love story,” she explained.
The rom-com film will also feature actor Gurfateh Pirzada and is directed by Danish Aslam, known for his work on Break Ke Baad. Pednekar added that working with Imran was on her “bucket list” because she has long been a fan of his films, including Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na.
According to reports, the film is titled Adhoore Hum Adhoore Tum and promises a fresh take on the rom-com film genre. Fans are eagerly waiting to see Khan return with this highly anticipated project, alongside Pednekar’s celebrated performance.
