OnlyFans Owner Leonid Radvinsky Dies at 43 After Battle with Cancer

OnlyFans Owner Leonid Radvinsky Dies at 43 After Battle with Cancer

Leonid Radvinsky, the billionaire owner of OnlyFans, has died at the age of 43 after a battle with cancer. The announcement was made by the company on Monday.

Radvinsky was a Ukrainian-American entrepreneur who played a major role in transforming the OnlyFans platform. Under his leadership, the website grew into one of the worldโ€™s most popular subscription-based content platforms.

An OnlyFans spokesperson confirmed the news in an official statement. The company said Radvinsky passed away peacefully after a long fight with cancer.

Leonid Radvinsky became the owner of OnlyFans in 2018. He bought the platformโ€™s parent company, Fenix International, from its founder Tim Stokely. After the purchase, he served as a director on the companyโ€™s board and became its majority shareholder.

During his time as owner, the platform saw rapid growth. OnlyFans shifted from a general content site to a platform widely known for adult and subscription-based content. The website attracted creators, influencers, and performers from around the world.

The platform now has more than 300 million users globally. It also generates more than one billion dollars in annual revenue. OnlyFans earns about 20 percent from subscriptions and other content sold on the site.

The platform gained huge popularity during the COVID-19 pandemic. Many people around the world stayed at home during lockdowns. As a result, online platforms like OnlyFans experienced a major rise in content creators and subscribers.

Radvinskyโ€™s death has raised questions about the future ownership of the company. His shares in Fenix International have been held by the LR Fenix Trust since 2024.

According to the Forbes real-time billionaire list, Radvinsky had an estimated net worth of around $4.7 billion.

Earlier this year, reports suggested that OnlyFans was exploring the sale of a majority stake. Investment firm Architect Capital was reportedly in discussions about a potential deal valued at about $5.5 billion, including debt.

Apart from his work with OnlyFans, Radvinsky also ran a venture capital fund called Leo Fund. He founded the fund in 2009 to invest in technology companies.
