FBISE Announces Delays in Matric Exams At Four Overseas Centers

FBISE Announces Delays in Matric Exams At Four Overseas Centers

The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) has announced delays in matriculation exams at centers in Iran, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain. The postponement comes due to the prevailing security situation in these countries.

According to the notification, exams at these four international centers will not be held for the time being. All other overseas and domestic exam centers will continue according to the previously announced schedule.

The board has also temporarily suspended the issuance of roll number slips for affected students. Authorities stated that students may be allowed to take exams in Pakistan or in a nearby country, depending on logistical arrangements.

FBISE said alternative plans would be implemented if any further complications occur at the overseas centers. Officials emphasized that the situation will be reviewed after 15 days. Updated exam dates will be announced once the security conditions improve.

Education officials stressed that these delays are temporary and aimed at ensuring student safety. The board also assured that if conditions normalize, all remaining papers will be conducted according to the original schedule.

Students and parents have been advised to monitor official FBISE channels for updates on exam schedules, roll number slips, and alternative arrangements. Authorities are coordinating closely with foreign missions to finalize solutions for affected candidates.

The board emphasized that such delays are necessary to maintain the integrity of exams while safeguarding the well-being of students abroad. Parents and students are encouraged to stay patient and avoid unnecessary travel until the revised schedule is released.

FBISE reiterated its commitment to conducting all exams fairly and efficiently. The board will continue to evaluate the situation and provide timely updates to ensure that students face minimal disruption in completing their matriculation examinations.
