Malaysia has expressed full support for Pakistan’s peace efforts to end ongoing hostilities in the Middle East. The announcement came during a phone call between Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim and Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday.
During the cordial conversation, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif thanked Malaysia for its support. He assured that Pakistan would continue its sincere peace efforts to de-escalate tensions in the region.
Shehbaz Sharif appreciated Malaysia’s endorsement of Pakistan-led mediation initiatives aimed at bringing the U.S. and Iran to the negotiating table. He also briefed the Malaysian Prime Minister on Pakistan’s latest diplomatic activities, including talks with Gulf countries and Iran.
