Pakistan Railways has temporarily suspended train operations from Quetta to other parts of the country due to ongoing repair work on the railway tracks.
As a result, the Jaffar Express scheduled to depart from Quetta to Peshawar did not operate, and services remain halted on the affected route.
Pakistan Railways clarified that the suspension is temporary and necessary to conduct essential maintenance work, ensuring safe operations for passengers once services resume.
Authorities also stated that the Jaffar Express arriving from Peshawar will not continue to Quetta and will instead terminate at Jacobabad until track repairs are completed.
Earlier, Pakistan Railways had already suspended Bolan Mail and other passenger trains to Chaman, affecting multiple routes from Quetta and disrupting travel across the region.
