Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer BYD has introduced a limited-time promotional offer for customers in Pakistan, aiming to attract new buyers in the country’s growing EV market.
Under the new offer, customers purchasing any vehicle from BYD Pakistan will receive a free 7kW home charging unit. However, the company clarified that installation costs and applicable taxes will be charged separately.
According to the company, the 7kW charger provides significantly faster charging compared to standard low-capacity home chargers. For example, the BYD Atto 3 can reach a full charge in approximately six to eight hours using the upgraded charger, while a conventional 2kW charger may take 22 to 24 hours to complete the same process.
The promotion applies to all BYD electric vehicles currently available in Pakistan, though the company has not announced a final deadline for the offer. Officials described the initiative as part of efforts to encourage electric vehicle adoption by making home charging more convenient for customers.
BYD Pakistan has advised prospective buyers to confirm complete offer details — including installation requirements, additional charges, and eligibility conditions — through official company channels before finalizing a purchase.
