The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Peshawar has announced that annual first-year examinations for 2026 will begin from May 6. The decision provides clarity to thousands of students preparing across the region.
According to a spokesperson, all necessary arrangements for the exams have been finalized. Authorities aim to ensure a smooth, fair, and transparent examination process without any irregularities.

It was further announced that practical examinations will be conducted after Eid ul-Adha. A detailed schedule for practical papers will be issued separately at a later stage.
