Class 10 Biology Paper Leaks Just 30 Minutes Before BSEK Exam

Class 10 Biology Paper Leaks Just 30 Minutes Before BSEK Exam

The 10th-grade Biology examination under the Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) has been hit by controversy after the paper leaked just 30 minutes before the exam started. The incident has raised serious concerns about exam security.

Officials confirmed that the paper leaked shortly before the scheduled start time. The question paper quickly spread on social media platforms, along with claimed answers. This created confusion among students and teachers.

The incident occurred during ongoing matric examinations for 9th and 10th grades across Karachi. Authorities are now facing criticism over repeated security failures.

This is not the first time such an issue has occurred. Earlier, the Computer Studies paper for 9th grade was also reported to have been paper leaked during the morning session. These repeated incidents have raised doubts about the integrity of the examination system.

Despite official assurances from the board, exam security breaches continue to be reported. Education experts say that the repeated paper leaked cases are damaging trust in the system.

A day before the incident, the BSEK administration issued new guidelines for examination centers. Officials said the instructions were meant to improve discipline and transparency during the ongoing exams.

BSEK Chairman Ghulam Hussain stated that no complaints of cheating by female students have been reported so far. He also clarified that female students are not required to remove burqas or abayas during exams.

He further warned that strict action will be taken if any violation is reported. The chairman also instructed that male invigilators should not be posted at female examination centers.

Meanwhile, students across Karachi continue to face difficult conditions during exams. Reports suggest that several centers lack basic facilities such as fans and proper ventilation.

At Government Boys Secondary School in Malir, students reportedly took exams in extreme heat. The absence of cooling arrangements caused discomfort for many candidates.

Education officials have not yet confirmed how the paper leaked incident occurred. Investigations are expected to determine responsibility and prevent future breaches.

Authorities say they are working to improve monitoring and security systems. However, repeated paper leaked cases have increased pressure on the board to take stronger action.

The situation has sparked renewed debate over exam reforms and the need for stricter control measures.
